Medium version is for the hook sizes #1-6. However, this is only indicative, it’s very different how long you want your legs to be on the flies.

As in all other flies with legs involved, it is extremely important that you lead load your flies properly, if you want your fly to fish as good as possible. Be sure to put a keel on the underside of your fly when you’re tying the fly, otherwise you can easily get to experience that the fly behaves strangely during your fishing.
